Xpedeon shortlisted in 2013 Construction Computing AwardsPosted Date: 17 Sep 2013

Xpedeon, global providers of software solutions for the construction industry, has been shortlisted in the 2013 Construction Computing Awards.  The awards, known as ‘The Hammers’, are now in their eighth year and recognise excellence across the construction computing industry.  Xpedeon is in the running for the prestigious Estimating and Valuation Product of the Year and its solution is used across a range of construction companies in the UK and overseas.

The construction industry now has the opportunity to vote for shortlisted companies including Xpedeon in a number of categories until 7 November.  The overall winners will be announced at a glamorous black tie event on 21 November at the Hotel Russell in London.

Simon Eyre, Managing Director of Xpedeon, said, “We’re delighted to be shortlisted in this year’s Construction Computing Awards which demonstrates the impact our Estimating and Valuation solution has had on the industry. Indeed, 2013 has been a good year for Xpedeon and following recent new business success in the UK and Middle East, coupled with evidence of a recovery in the construction industry, we have ambitious plans in place to grow our business further.”

Xpedeon’s Estimating and Valuation model is part of the company’s suite of software, which captures information generated within organisations, delivering integrated and modular business solutions to building, civil engineering and specialist contractors, house builders and developers, both pre and post contract.  This information is then made available at the point of need whether on site or in the office, so that departments have access to real time data and can make informed decisions to positively impact the business.

Xpedeon differs from many industry systems by offering an integrated solution (as opposed to an interface) via a single database and therefore reducing errors and the need to consult other resources.
