ERP Presales Consultant – Accounts & Finance Software

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced ERP Presales Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for working with potential clients in the construction industry to understand their specific business needs and demonstrating how our ERP solutions can address and fulfil those needs. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in presales for accounts and finance software modules and be knowledgeable about Tally, accounting, taxation, and financial management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Subject Matter Expertise: Act as an expert on ERP solutions for the construction industry, particularly in accounts and finance modules. Effectively present and demonstrate our ERP products, showing how they address specific challenges in financial management, accounting, taxation, and project-based operations.
  • Collaboration with Sales Team: Work alongside the sales team to identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within the construction sector. Ensure that our solutions align with clients’ financial management needs and requirements.
  • Needs Assessment & Recommendations: Conduct detailed needs assessments with clients, providing actionable recommendations on how our ERP solution can maximize efficiency in their accounting and financial processes.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients. Understand their business objectives, especially in terms of financial and accounting needs, and customize the ERP solution to meet their unique requirements.
  • Presentations & Demonstrations: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and live demonstrations of our ERP solution, emphasizing the value of its accounts and finance software capabilities for the construction industry.
  • Client Discovery & Technical Discussions: Lead discovery sessions and engage in technical discussions, addressing client questions and concerns, and aligning our ERP solution with the specific needs of the construction industry.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and new advancements in ERP solutions for construction businesses. Apply this knowledge to deliver the best possible solution to clients.
  • Sales & Marketing Support: Assist in the development of tailored sales and marketing materials, such as case studies, proposals, and presentations, with a focus on accounts and finance software for the construction industry.

Core Competencies:

  • Experience in ERP Presales/Consulting: Proven experience in ERP presales or consulting, with strong knowledge of accounts and finance software modules.
  • Accounting and Taxation Knowledge: Deep understanding of Tally, accounting principles, taxation (GST, Income Tax), balance sheet preparation, and how these concepts integrate into ERP solutions for construction businesses.
  • Strong Communication & Presentation Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders and deliver clear, persuasive presentations.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex client needs and offer innovative ERP solutions.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a team environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams (sales, technical, product) to drive successful client outcomes.
