Founded in 1994 with a vision of being a product-focused organization, Xpedeon identified the construction sector as underserved by traditional ERP vendors. Early adoption by Indian construction firms paved the way for international expansion into the Middle East and later the UK. Despite challenges in mature markets like the UK, Xpedeon persevered and built a strong foundation for global growth.
Reinventing Construction ERP
In 2006, Xpedeon rebuilt its platform from the ground up, leveraging years of industry knowledge. More recently, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Xpedeon transitioned to a cloud-native SaaS model to meet growing demand. This transformation has enabled the company to expand into new territories, including the United States and Asia Pacific.
Addressing Construction Challenges
Xpedeon’s platform bridges critical gaps between site operations and back-office functions. With integrated workflows and mobile applications, it streamlines processes like procurement, supply chain management, and project coordination. The platform also provides holistic insights into project performance, enabling better decision-making and mitigating risks to project margins.
Embracing Innovation
Xpedeon is exploring emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) for analyzing site documentation and generating actionable insights. Additionally, IoT solutions are being developed for real-time tracking of equipment and site progress. Sustainability is another focus area, with tools designed to help clients track carbon emissions and improve environmental reporting.
Looking Ahead
With its cloud-native platform, deep industry expertise, and focus on innovation, Xpedeon is poised for significant growth over the next five to seven years. As Vakharia stated: “The next five to seven years will be extremely exciting for us as we scale this out globally.”
