Position Overview:
A fantastic opportunity has opened up for a motivated Business Development Manager – General & Specialist Contractors in our UK region. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who is looking for a challenging role in a fast-paced environment, working on a cutting-edge SaaS ERP.
The primary focus would be to find, pursue, and maximise sales of Xpedeon ERP software, into General & Specialist Contractors in the UK Construction market.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive Understanding: Have a strong understanding of the Algorithms’ business, its products, services and value propositions
- Target Achievement: Achieve targets set via sales of Xpedeon ERP Software and Services, into UK based General & Specialist Contractors
- Strategic Planning: Develop sales strategies and tactics to increase sales pipeline and improve customer/prospect engagement.
- Collaborative Approach: Work closely with the technical Pre-Sales team to agree and execute individual plans to land new customers
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments like Marketing, Support, and Implementation, to meet wider business objectives
- Industry Insight: Remain current on industry trends, technological advancements and competitors
- Performance Metrics: Achieve key performance indicators (KPI’s) as set out by the Sales Management team
- CRM Utilisation: Use HubSpot CRM to log all Customer contact and pipeline management
- Accurate Forecasting: Ability to accurately forecast as requested by the Sales Management team
Core Competencies:
- A proven track record of enterprise sales within the construction technology space
- Understanding of the UK construction market and is well connected in the industry
- A dynamic, confident, and personable individual who has a passion for problem solving
- Ability to engage at all levels of a prospect’s organisation, including C-suite
- Strong communication skills. Thrives when presenting to an audience
- Ability to write compelling sales proposals and business cases
