Microsoft Dynamics 365 Integration Specialist (Finance and Operations)

Position Overview:

As a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, building, and managing integrations between Xpedeon and Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), particularly the Finance and Operations modules. You will need deep knowledge of Dynamics 365 and its APIs to ensure the integration is scalable, secure, and reliable. You will work closely with internal teams, including product development, and collaborate with external customers to customize solutions based on specific business needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Integration Architecture:
  • Design and architect an integration framework between Xpedeon and Microsoft Dynamics 365, with a focus on the Finance and Operations modules.
  • Ensure the architecture enables real-time data flow and supports automated business processes between the two systems.
  • Development and Testing:
  • Develop, configure, and test integrations using Microsoft Dynamics 365 APIs, data entities, and data management frameworks.
  • Work with the .NET framework for building integration components that interface with Dynamics 365.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure integration aligns with both Xpedeon and D365 technical and business requirements.
  • Deployment and Maintenance:
  • Oversee the deployment of integration solutions in customer environments, ensuring smooth rollouts and minimal disruption.
  • Provide ongoing support for integrations, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the long-term stability and performance of the solutions.
  • Implement monitoring solutions to proactively identify and resolve potential issues with the integration.
  • Customization and Optimization:
  • Customize the integration based on client-specific requirements, particularly for Finance and Operations workflows.
  • Continuously enhance the integration by adding new functionalities, optimizing performance, and ensuring alignment with the latest versions of Dynamics 365.
  • Documentation and Training:
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation for the integration, including technical specifications, deployment guides, and user manuals.
  • Train internal teams and customers on how to implement, use, and maintain the integration effectively.
  • Customer Interaction:
  • Engage directly with customers to understand their business needs and tailor the integration to meet their specific financial and operational processes.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for all technical queries related to Microsoft Dynamics 365 integration.

Core Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations modules, their business processes, and integration points.
  • Expertise in Dynamics 365 APIs, OData, and web services for building integrations.
  • Strong programming skills in C#, .NET, and familiarity with integration platforms like Power Automate or Logic Apps.
  • Experience with data transformation and ETL processes for integrating large volumes of financial and operational data.
  • Familiarity with Azure services and cloud integration patterns is preferred.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
