SAP Integration Specialist (S/4HANA and R/3)

Position Overview:

The SAP Integration Specialist will work closely with our internal teams to understand the nuances of Xpedeon’s SaaS platform, architect a comprehensive integration with SAP systems, and manage the entire lifecycle of the integration, from design to deployment and ongoing enhancements. The successful candidate will need to have an in-depth understanding of SAP S/4HANA and SAP R/3, as well as experience with .NET-based solutions, ensuring smooth integration within our platform.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Integration Architecture:
• Design and architect a robust and scalable standard integration solution between Xpedeon (built on .NET) and SAP S/4HANA and SAP R/3.
• Ensure that the architecture supports data synchronization, business process automation, and interoperability across both platforms.
• Development and Testing:
• Lead the development and configuration of the integration, including APIs, middleware, and data connectors.
• Utilize the .NET framework for integrating SAP and Xpedeon, ensuring a seamless interface between the platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure that the integration aligns with both Xpedeon’s and SAP’s technical and business requirements.
• Oversee rigorous testing of the integration, ensuring it meets functional, performance, and security standards.
• Deployment and Maintenance:
• Manage the deployment of the integration in customer environments, ensuring minimal disruption and a smooth transition.
• Provide post-deployment support, troubleshooting issues as they arise, and ensuring the long-term reliability of the integration.
• Implement a monitoring and maintenance strategy to ensure that the integration remains updated and compliant with any changes in SAP or Xpedeon platforms.
• Enhancement and Upgrades:
• Continuously enhance the integration based on customer feedback, new SAP versions, and evolving business requirements.
• Implement version control and manage upgrades to ensure that all clients are using the most optimized integration version.
• Documentation and Training:
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for the integration, including architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and troubleshooting manuals.
• Provide training to internal teams and external clients on the integration, including setup, usage, and best practices.
• Customer Interaction:
• Work directly with prospective customers to understand their integration needs and customize the deployment to their specific SAP configurations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all technical questions related to the SAP integration.

Core Competencies:

• Expertise in SAP integration technologies (e.g., BAPIs, IDocs, RFCs, SAP APIs).
• Strong knowledge of web services, REST APIs, and other integration protocols.
• Proficiency with programming languages like C#, ABAP, or JavaScript.
• Experience with middleware technologies and enterprise service buses (ESB).
• Familiarity with data modeling, data transformation, and mapping in SAP environments.
